• I had the free version installed when my site was heavily attacked with rapid login attempts. I updated to the paid version and started blocking countries. The attacks stopped after five days. The only reason this is not a five star rating is that I really felt it would help to be able to change the login url – which would reduce attacks. Otherwise, an excellent tool – easy to use and install with some very sophisticated features.

  • Hi Keith
I am very new here. I also experience a have hacking on my site.
I ran the free version of wordfence and started deleting the malware files.
OK, I am 79 years and I might have done something stupid.
Now I am not able to access my site via wp-admin
Any advice how to retrieve or how to ask the people at wordfence?

Phew Ronny!!!! You can find me on Facebook at RowleySEO https://www.facebook.com/rowleyseo – send me a personal message or just post and I’ll see if I can help you. Age has nothing to do with this so don’t despair! I can’t guarantee that I can help you but I’ll try. These threads have to be topic specific so we should not have the discussion on this page. If you have been deleting files, I doubt Wordfence could help you.
