Very effective… but too slow and very complex

    While WPML is very effective, it has significant drawbacks:

    • It significantly slows down the site
    • It significantly slows down the administration process
    • It is very complex to configure and maintain
    • Support is effective but slow
      Its competitor, Poplylang, is more expensive to license, but overall more efficient and, above all, less impactful on both the front end and back end!

    Just a quick note: this listing is for WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce, not the commercial WPML Multilingual CMS plugin for translations.

    That said, I’m sorry to hear that WPML might not be the right fit for you. WPML is a powerful plugin that allows you to translate an entire site (not only posts, but also texts coming from third-party plugins) so it does require some configuration and a bit of a learning curve at the beginning.
