• This plugin is a no-go! The dashboard is not giving a good overview on bookings – service bookings are visible, events are not – services, backend and frontend are not synchronized, updates cause critical errors, no proper support or FAQs to read about the incompatibilities/ work arounds with other plugins like caching sites, set up is close to impossible due to hundreds of restrictions in the options.. so none of the options are useful. It’s not SEO compatible, html doesn’t work on frontend, frontend preview is not adjustable (giving you huge blocks to scroll and empty gaps- user unfriendly) this plugin will cost you a lot of money and even more nerves. After 17 months of constantly dealing with setting up a functioning booking system its still a complete disaster! And don’t expect any usefull help from the support ! You’ll need a full time office employee to work with this booking plugin! Just for 1 worker, it needed 32(!!) employees in the backend to be able to offer different options for booking on the frontend.. stay away from this plugin if you’re looking to make your booking system easier! 1 star is to much

    Hi there.

We appreciate your feedback on Amelia, but we certainly can’t agree that the plugin is that bad that it deserves only 1 star, since it’s being used by tens of thousands of people worldwide. You most likely weren’t able to configure the plugin per your likings, which is, of course, expected since there is no universal plugin that will cover every use case that exists.

Our technical support team receives approximately 100 ticket requests during the day, and they do their best to respond to everyone as soon as popssible, but they do respond to everyone and they try to resolve everyone’s concern. If they can’t help, the issue is escalated to the developers but, as mentioned above, there’s always a chance that the plugin will not work for you.

Since WordPress is an open source software, there is also a big chance there will be conflicts that affect the plugins and the themes. Given your description, we believe this is exactly what happened on your end and, while we do try and handle all issues, there are still some conflicts we cannot resolve, especially if they aren’t coming from Amelia.

Last, and foremost, since you’ve mentioned you created 32 employees in Amelia, that indicates that you just left a review for the full version of the plugin, while this forum is only for Amelia Lite. Commercial products are not supported in these forums, as per this comment by WordPress.org moderators, so there’s a possibility that this review can be removed by them.
