Thank you for sharing this. I took a closer look after reading your review and found a bug with the close button on the notice, which made it feel like it would not go away. I am really sorry about that. It was meant to be unobtrusive and easy to dismiss, so I can understand how this came across the wrong way.
I have already fixed the issue, and the notice will now disappear the way it should. It will already be dismissed for you once you update. Thank you for pointing this out. It helped me catch something I had completely missed.
