    Hello
I have been looking for a plugin that offers my required functionality, and yours seems to perhaps have the potential to do so.
I’ve checked the documentation but cannot find the answer I seek.

I’d like to create a vertical off-canvas menu that opens up when clicked, and menu items to be displayed like tabs, where submenu item opens “a new vertical off-canvas menu” displaying its own tabs. I do not want submenu items to be listed as a drop down, or as a flyout, but rather, to take over the whole menu in their own tabs.

The functionality is to work just like how the WordPress Customise side menu works – clicking on a tabbed menu item (such as “General Options”) displays a new tabbed menu (listing all those option menu items), and you have pagination above the menu to go back to the parent menu. With the same functionality too, of the “hide control” button on WP Customise by which it hides the menu.

    Does this make sense?
And, is this something I can achieve fully with your plugin?

    Thank you

    Hi Kay,

I understand, but it is not possible with MMM sorry. You may be better off looking for dedicated mobile menu plugins.

    Hi Tom
Thank you for your prompt response.

Could you please advise if you know how the WP Customise menu is achieved then? It seems it should be very simple, especially given the fact that WordPress itself uses it.

Would a mobile menu offer the same functionality on desktop as it does mobile? I assumed they were to assist in functioning with mobile/tablet only.

With your MMM Pro plugin, could I create multiple menus that link to each other. For example,

Explore (Menu 1) > Find Routes (Menu 2)

With pagination somehow to go back to previous?

Or are multiple menus that link not an option?

Thank you for any additional help here.

    Hi Kay,

Multiple menus that link is not possible with MMM sorry.

The customize menu is specific to the WordPress admin area and not possible to use on the front end (it is a completely different system).

I’d suggest a dedicated mobile menu plugin as they will probably offer more mobile specific options than a general menu plugin. There are lots on codecanyon that would probably get somewhere close to your requirements, but you would need to have a look yourself.

    Regards,
    Tom
