• hi FOLKS, i am using 20-10 theme and i have customize the menu by moving it form horozontal to vertical. now i D LIKE TO ADD SUBMENU but as link or dropdown voices so that they would be visible only on mouse over.this is not something that can be done with 20-10 option menu so either i create a link or a easy plugin. can anyone of you out there help me to make it real?

  • Last time I checked, the Twenty Ten theme did support drop-down menus (Hover over “A Parent Page” http://2010dev.wordpress.com/)

Do you have a custom menu created? If not, you’ll need to make one under Appearance > Menus. Then you drag over your menu items. To create the sub menu you need to drag the menu item underneath the parent item then shift it to the right. It should lock into place and create the hierarchy.

    hey hi!
yes it does support but what I am trying to do it is a bit different

    this is the site:
    http://www.giovannicalemma.com/w/?page_id=18

I have various voices under photography, if i use 20-10 option menu, they will show as static dropdown but I would prefer to have a dynamic one, you see the voice on mouse over ort click, so i was thinking it might work if i made a link but dunno how to do so, or a plugin but till now didn’t find one that functionS PROPELY
    do you have any suggestion?
    thanks

I am looking for something like that

Ah right. Though it isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, I have used this plugin quite a bit http://wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-vertical-accordion-menu/ With a bit of tweaking (Like stripping the css, etc) it could work.

Other than that, I’m afraid I can’t think of any other plugins that might help you off the top of my head. If you search for “sub-menu sidebar” etc in the plugins area you might find something.
