• I have tried to install the Simple Social Icons update (2.01) and have not been able to install it successfully – I hope you can help. Several times I have cleared the site cache, and while clearing the cache worked on a different site I manage, it has not worked on this particular site.

The widget is being used in the upper right corner of the home page to display three links (FB, Instagram, email). With the 2.01 update the icons are replaced by long rectangular boxes. They are the same color and width as the icons, but about 5-6 times the length of the icons. This also causes the home page title banner to be pushed downward as well.

Each time the update has failed, I reverted SSI to version 1.0.13 and the problem resolved.

I am running WordPress 4.7 and Genesis 2.4.2 with Curb Appeal theme 2.0. I do not know if there are any customizations to SSI; I do not have access to the site’s original developer. The url is http://twilliamsrealty.com/

Thanks for the report and for sharing your URL, @masircely.

It looks like your site is using the CloudFlare service. If you clear your CloudFlare cache after updating, you should find the icons display correctly.
