I love this plugin but it won’t work with my version, do you have a link to an earlier version that does?

I’d strongly recommend that you do upgrade WordPress.

But one of the older version does probably work with 3.3.1, I don’t know which off the top of my head, but your welcome to test a few, see http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/backupwordpress/developers/
