The version (on View Source) still says 4.2 but the 1-click update ran OK. Other sites I updated the same way at the same time now say 4.2.1.
The update button says it’s up to date, so it won’t let me do anything through the admin.
I’m having trouble with wooCommerce from this site, but not the others that updated to 4.2.1 correctly.
Can I just replace all 4.2 WordPress files with 4.2.1 files (after proper backups, etc.)? Will that register as an update to 4.2.1 in the admin?

I went ahead and replaced all appropriate files in site folder with 4.2.2 – still says 4.2. There is no option in admin to update, reinstall or just recognize the update. Still same problems with wooCommerce.

Sounds like your WordPress installation is not actually where you think it is. You may be updating a WordPress install, but are you sure it’s the same one you’re looking at?

Yes – I have my own servers, so I am sure.

Duhh – I was sure it unzipped in the right server folder but didn’t notice it was into the WordPress folder. I applied it and now it says 4.2.2
Thanks – I wouldn’t have realized it if you hadn’t asked that question.
