version roll-back error

    I upgraded Events Maker to version 1.6.3, without knowing that there would be a compatibility issue with the formatting. The company that built the site said it should not be upgraded. So I disabled the plugin and re-uploaded the previous version from a back-up. When I go to activate the plugin I get this error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function Events_Maker() in /home7/[host directory]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-maker/includes/class-taxonomies.php on line 19

    Events_Maker() is the final class of the plugin. It MUST be there.

    Maybe something went wrong with the upgrade?. Just try to do that again.

    btw: I’m shocked with your web design company statement. did you ask them why they mean?
