 * Can you **please** put details of the latest update on the changelog [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/changelog/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/changelog/)
 * I want to see the difference between 4.5.3 & 4.5.4 not just the major version
   changes between 4.4 & 4.5
 * I’m getting weary of updating with no real clue as to why, then trawling through
   the dashboard looking for anything that may have changed.
 * If this minor version update 4.5.3 to 4.5.4 is because you have added language
   support for Fula then tell us please. That way I can make a qualified decision
   as to how urgently I need to update my sites with what is an otherwise excellent
   plugin.
 * Thanks 🙂

 * Hi Mike,
 * Thanks for your message and sorry for any confusion here.
 * On the FAQs page ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/faq/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/faq/))
   there’s a mention of how the change logs work and mention that we commit our
   development changes to a separate github repository where it’s really easy to
   see further details on each commit and release.
 * If you look at the changelog on WordPress.org for the plugin, I group together
   major releases, as you’ve seen. But within each major grouping there are “minor”
   version changes outlined at the end of each entry in the changelog. So for version
   4.5.4 you’ll see the changes are under major version 4.5, but anything ending
   in (v.4) refers to the minor release for this major development version.
 * I hope that helps. Of course for much more detail you can review the github page
   for individual code commits.
 * thanks.
    Paul.

 * Hi Mike,
 * For the next release (which will be for further translations) I’ve tweaked the
   changelog to make the changes a bit more obvious, though they still follow a
   similar grouping format.
 * Cheers,
    Paul.

 * Hi Paul,
 * Thanks for the update. Some of it was from one of my clients who manages their
   own updates and while competent, they are very detailed in checking why something
   needs updating.
 * Mike 🙂
