Version 8.0.4 – A Big Improvement

I don’t usually leave reviews, especially for IDX plugins, which I’ve been critical of in the past. But I have to say—Optima Express IDX version 8.0.4 is a major improvement! While the initial 8.0 release was rough, the developers moved quickly to resolve the issues with follow-up updates. The user experience is now vastly improved—pages with embedded listings are more reliable and load significantly faster. Plus, the listing presentation looks cleaner and more modern.

So why not five stars? It’s still not perfect. And if, like me, you only want the IDX without their CRM, you’re now required to pay for the full CRM MAX package. That feels like a forced upsell for users who prefer a simple IDX.

All things considered, I’m satisfied with the ongoing development and my website visitors seem to be happy as well.
