@amsgator Is this occurring on other pages besides the home page? We checked on your site and do see that the og:image is not output on the home page, but did see it output in the source code on other pages such as https://www.thebigprogunrally.com/posters/.
Also, can you please let us know whether your home page is set to a static page? There is currently an open issue regarding the plugin not outputting the og:image when the home page is set to a static page which you can view more information on here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/9730
The homepage is indeed a static page. The site only has two pages right now, so it looks like it’s limited to home.
I didn’t see that github issue, but after I posted here I saw this one: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/9841
I can confirm the issue is also still present in 7.5.3.
@amsgator
Thanks for confirming that the homepage is a static page. Could you please try the following scenarios:
* Setting of featured image
* Setting of og:image in the Yoast SEO meta box Facebook tab
* Setting of default image if there are no images under SEO (sidebar) > Social
And see if setting an image to the options above will make the og:image tag output in the page source? This is so that we’ll have more information for the open GitHub issues that seem to match your issue currently.
@mikes41720
* Setting of featured image
Doesn’t work
* Setting of og:image in the Yoast SEO meta box Facebook tab
Doesn’t work
* Setting of default image if there are no images under SEO (sidebar) > Social
Works
