    Hi,

The latest version, 7.4.2. immediately throws this error in debug. I’m running the latest version of WP, latest GeneratePress theme, and NO other plugins for testing purposes on this development site.

Warning: strpos(): Empty needle in /home/callseiko/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/class-database-proxy.php on line 44

We apologize for the inconvenience. This issue has been reported to our developers and the fix will be included in the upcoming Yoast SEO 7.6.

    Having the same problem.

VERY annoying, for paying customers to have such a wonderful error message being visible to everyone visiting the website…

Using Yoast 7.5.1 as well as latest WP version.

A bit of feedback. This is the second significant error that Yoast has displayed in the last few weeks. Yoast developers: Maybe it’s time to slow things down? There’s no really rush is there? I for one value stability over new features. It takes time to test. Everyone understands that. So please consider slowing down the development pace and test more thoroughly. Thank you.

Replace (or copy the content) of file /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/class-database-proxy.php to that: https://gist.github.com/TiagoGouvea/1938dcb48e650b3d7602d23ae65f6ccf

    It will fix the error.

I got this message on top of my homepage.

Warning: strpos(): Empty needle in /home/mallinab/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/frontend/class-frontend.php on line 556

Need help or suggestion to fix it.

It happens also in version 7.6.1
