Hi @maxfabran
Can you please let me know what the issue was? Does it show a 403 forbidden error or 500 error or any other database error?
The other users have a .htaccess file corrupted while updating, It is not the general case and should be an intermittent issue. Do you have that 403 forbidden error then might be a .htaccess issue. but have to cross-check that file.
If 500 internal server error or database please cross check your server error log, If possible ask the hosting provider.
Why you have rolled back to 5.1.7 ( instead 5.2.4 last) do you have that last installed and updated from it?
Regards
Hi @hjogiupdraftplus, thanks for the reply.
I answer the questions in order.
It doesn’t actually show any errors, as soon as I activate the plugin a white screen appears. By typing the URL I return to the WordPress administration home and this is (strangely) displayed, then I return to the list of installed plugins and find AIOS deactivated. If I try to reactivate it again, same thing.
I tried to check the .htaccess file (I read the other topics), but I think that, by not activating the plugin, the .htaccess file is not modified (in fact it is intact).
I tried to see the log file that the hosting offers me on the server, but it doesn’t give me any errors. I tried to activate wordpress debugging by writing logs to a file, but it doesn’t write anything.
Finally, I installed version 5.1.7, because it was a zip file that I had kept for another client, I couldn’t find version 5.2.4 on the internet. However, I do updates regularly, so I got to 5.2.5 by updating from 5.2.4.

I found version 5.2.4. Now I’ll try to install it
Version 5.2.4 works, no problems
Hi @maxfabran,
Okay, when you try to activate AIOS 5.2.5 it seems to be an issue.
It should logged an error if it can not activate the plugin. If possible ask your hosting provider as the debug log should be on to have that error log logged.
It seems 500 errors. Not 403 as the plugin is not activated
