 * I have updated WP4.2 but in admin (dashboard) i lose all formatting and style
   i only get it back if i hit refresh?

 * Ok. I have tried the usual, deactivate plugins, change theme and reinstall WP
   but so far no joy. Will keep looking

 * Have you attempted this troubleshooting suggested inthat thread I linked above?

    I don’t use any cache plugins.
