 * I just updated to the newest version of the plugin but lost some of the features
I liked. Right now when I hover over an event from the month view the flyer and
description no longer pop up. What that supposed to leave? Also, I can’t change
my view from month to listing or day anymore.
 * Please assist. Thanks!

 * I agree with the filtering issue.
 * If in Event > Settings > Display (tab) you select only one view filter, the calendar
functions properly. I tested each independently and was successful in viewing
   all display filters.
 * However, if you select more than one display filter, the result is that the filter
other than the default, it displays a 404.
 * One more note. Allowing us to use ONE license for stage/test server would be
a better approach than having folks update production sites. I hold 3 lic for
production sites and have no lic to test with on stage site.

 * After updating today I can no longer access my events. I can view them as a list
but once I click on one I get a page not found.

 * Looks as though the Event Tickets add-on (4.0.4) is breaking the Events view (
in 4.0.5). That is, the list of events no longer displays.

 * Howdy Guys,
 * I am truly sorry this update is giving y’all problems. There were some very minor
changes in it, all focused on input forms.
 * I have tried reproducing your issues with the various views not showing, with
and without the Event tickets addon. To no avail. I am not seeing that problem
on my end. You might give this guide a go, it is very possibly going to fix everyone’s
issue except TMalone. [Troubleshooting 404 Page Not Found errors](http://m.tri.be/r8)
 * Would you mind opening up your own topic and thoroughly detail your problem?
Per the forum rules on wordpress.org you should start your own topic, unless “
you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted
by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme, and configurations as the original
poster”. Having your own topic helps ensure that each person gets the topics
full attention and no one’s unique details get accidentally ignored. TMalone
has a very different issue than the rest.
 * TMalone have you performed any modifications to the calendar, such as editing
the CSS, JavaScript, or PHP? If so, anytime you update WordPress itself erases
those modifications. It downloads a brand new copy of the plugin and deletes
   the old copy/version.
 * If you have not done any modifications, it sounds like you are experiencing a
conflict. In order to proceed you will need to test if a “conflict” is happening,
and if so narrow it down so a fix can be found for it. [This guide walks you through how to test for a conflict, and then identify what is conflicting.](http://m.tri.be/r6)
 * Does that all make sense?
    Cheers! – Brook

 * Hi all! Regarding 404 display filter error –
 * Nico figured this out for me today. First, change the view filter options in
the Display tab. Immediately after, go to your WP Dashboard Settings and refresh
permalinks. The view filters then appear as they should.
 * One note – if you use a backend localization plugin, be sure both frontend and
backend are using the same language when making the above change. Otherwise,
the permalinks will be create the event calendar links in the wrong language
   and again be a 404.

 * I was able to deactivate all plugins and turn them back on one at a time and
   everything works fine now.

 * when I import my events CSV file I can see the result page and every thing looks
fine but I can find any of my events in the Event page and the Calendar!!!

 * Brook did what you advised, and the issues looks like it comes from when a was
optimizing the website for better loading performance. Besides making changes
to my W3 Cache Plugin, I also added these plugins:
 * –**Autoptimize** (Optimizes your website, concatenating the CSS and JavaScript
   code, and compressing it.)
 * –**Remove query strings from static resources** (Remove query strings from static
resources like CSS & JS files)
 * Is there a way that I keep these plugins active, and not lose the functionality
   of The Events Calendar?

 * After turning back on certain plugins the 404 would show up again. After following
the recommended first step by resetting my permalink settings it’s all working
   perfectly with all plugins.
 * Thank you.

 * Thanks everyone for letting us know.
 * Permalinks refresh is usually a winner!
