    We’re running WordPress 5.03 on PHP 7.2.

    Can you try removing the plugin directory and manually updating the latest version from here ► https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

    Thanks Ed – I updated the plugin via FTP a week ago and it worked. So it’s the automatic update via WP-admin that fails.

    Glad that worked!

    We think that we narrowed down the issue, so the next update should run smoothly.

    I’m going to mark this as resolved for now, but don’t hesitate to reach out!
