    – Database-only backups work, with compressed file coming out to about 21mb
    – Files-only backups work, with compressed file coming out to about 91mb
    – FULL backups don’t work…it says STARTING BACKUP, BACKING UP DATABASE, BACKING UP FILES…and from here “backing up files” spins forever. My scheduled backups do work…with a 180mb backup size that ends up being compressed to about 110mb.

I have tried raising my php settings to as high as
    max_execution_time – 300 all the way up to 1200
    max_input_time – 300 all the way up to 1200
..the result is still the same.

    🙁

I’m sorry for the inconvenience. If both the files and database work okay by themselves then you mist be running into some server limit that is precluding the slighter larger complete backup from running. Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do to change server settings, especially if the php.ini changes didn’t help.

The good news is that you can set up a schedule for the database and for the files backups and then if you need them you’ll still have everything you need to restore.
