As I had descriped in the first tread, I am using the well known & very populare “codecanyon”-delivered WP-PlugIn “Visual Composer – Page Builder” http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431
Inside this VC Page Builder PlugIn it exists the “VC ShortCoder” funcitionality. With this extention you can create one VC-specific UI-elements based on a shortcode string. After you have created this kind of shortcode-based UI-elements, you can use it directly inside VC rows & columns. Only what’s needed, if you use this custom-created UI-elements, is to handover the shortcode specific values/paramenter – in the same way/kind, if you are using the shortcode in the normal WP-Texteditor.
What is happend after your upgrade to version 3.0: no content is displayed/shown anymore inside all VC UI-elements based on “Insert Page”-shortcode created via this special “VC ShortCoder” Extension of VC.
In all versions before 3.0 it worked perfectly & absolutly stable!

I have tested it directly: sorry it didn’t work together with Visual Composer from “wpbakery”.
Both cases are not working:
1) creating a Special shortcode UI-element with VC shortcoder.
2) embedding your shortcode directly via WP-Editor into a Visual Composer specific “accordion”, “tab” or “text” UI-element.
If needed, i can provide you the VC Page-Builder PlugIn.

Paul, same here: 3.01 behave the same like 3.00 – not working. Rolled back to 2.91 and it works.
As a test, I deactivated all my (2 only) other plugins too, and it still didn’t work. I am using wp-4.4 with the latest install defaults (theme is Twenty Sixteen 1.0)
Okay, new fixes in 3.0.2 just released. Please test again to see if that fixes your issue.
