Updating version 3.0 show blank posts

Performed plugin update to 3.0 today, running latest version of WordPress already. Plugin breaks posts upon activation

enabled WP_DEBUG and checked debug.log, no errors or warnings, but it’s definitely this plugin causing the issue, once I deactivate it the post content returns

I thought perhaps the shortcode had changed, because in my theme’s content-meta.php I was using

`<?php echo do_shortcode( ‘[post_view]’ ); ?>

I removed that line of code, but post content is still missing when plugin is enabled. Most Viewed widget appears to be working fine.
