We recently released an update (long over due) to our beloved/broken plugin. This update addresses a few issues concerning the plugin’s functionality.

First off, the code needed to be compatible with the latest versions of jQuery, so we fixed that. Next was the facebook and instagram buttons. They stayed no matter what. Now they are not created unless the api key has been added in Aviary Options.

Corrected a couple spelling issues and ensured comparability with WordPress.4.0, however much work still has to be done on the presentation of the facebook and instagram album browser. Facebook’s permission system is a bit different with the latest API than the old one, so we’re waiting for approval before we can test and fix that stuff.

We have updated the Aviary API to the latest v3.0. This solves a lot of issues working on mobile devices and gives it a more modern look.

Leon, How do we use this plugin without an API? Clicking on the “Get your free api key here” leads us to a sign-in form, not a sign up form.

Is there a way of having an api key that we can use? Or a demo login? or anything so this plugin is usable?

Not working at all….. aviary does not allow to sign up.

It appears that Aviary is now a part of the Adobe Creative SDK. The standard approach in obtaining an Aviary API key is no longer viable. I’m looking into making the necessary changes needed to utilize the new Adobe Creative SDK instead. I’ll keep you posted and let you know if this is doable.

Ok. Here is what’s up. You now have to go to Adobe Creative SDK and setup and account there. If you already have an adobe account then you can use that.

Choose the Create a new App and select the Web SDK. This will generate the API key you need to make the plugin work. Remember, this is an add-on for Gravity Forms. Not a standalone plugin. Please be sure to install Gravity Forms first.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any help otherwise. I’ll be updating the plugin code and cleaning up a few things soon. Plus, I still need to update the compatibility with Facebook so that starts working again.

Use the App Client ID that is generated, not the App Secret.

    Hi, Thanks for update.
I have updated the add-on but still no hope. its not uploading files.
I wanted to upload a very small jpg file with aviary editor on my form, its showing ‘wait a second…’, thousands of thousand second gone, still ‘wait a second…’
would you plz show us and demo where you have configured this add-on…?

I would be very happy if you got a look on my site for trouble of settings.
If it is possible plz send me your email and i will mail you with my sites credentials. tareqhi@gmail.com or aakter@outlook.com
