Google Webmaster is reporting that it cannot read the sitemaps on two of my sites and ALL IN ONE SEO deactivated on my third site and I cannot get it to activate. How do we revert before I have to abandon?

    Same problem

Are you saying you’re getting a Google Search Console parsing error like above? If so, please post the URL(s) of the website(s) as well as the exact error message.

the plugin deactivated and I cannot activate it again

“cannot activate it again” is vague. What are the exact symptoms? Is there an error message?

DISREGARD WEBMASTER TOOLS ERROR. It appears that the errors were dated yesterday and the day before – 10/01 and 10/02. However, their were still sitemap read errors, perhaps the new version of SEO Plugin will correct. Sitemaps are now testing with no errors by Webmaster tools.

    RESOLVED ACTIVATION ERROR:

Plugin conflict – MEMBERS Version 2.0.1 | By Justin Tadlock |

Once I deactivated the MEMBERS plugin, I was able to activate ALL IN ONE SEO and subsequently reactivate MEMBERS plugins. So far so good. No idea why.

SIDE NOTE: Your response time to the free forums is above and beyond. We are very close to upgrading to PRO and service like this pushes us to do so. Thank you.

Thank you for the update. I’ve opened an issue here for the activation problem: https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/1255

Thank you for the kind words also. We’d love to have you join as a Pro member, and feel free to leave us a 5-star review as well.

So far I’ve been unable to reproduce this. (We actually use the Members plugin on semperplugins.com, and have no problems there either.)

We’d like to look into it more, you can contact us here: https://semperplugins.com/contact/

I am simply reporting the troubleshooting steps I took in order to resolve the issue.

I was only able to reactivate the SEO Plugin after I deactivated the MEMBERS plugin. There is no way for me to know if it was the MEMBERS plugin or a combination of that plugin with others or combo of that plugin and my theme.

I can tell you that the update went fine on my other two sites that use the same theme and all the same plugins minus the MEMBERS plugin.

This could be a one off situation that has only effected my one site.

ALL IN ONE SEO and MEMBERS plugins are great plugins in and of themselves and have always played well with each other in the past. Also, everything is running as it should after reactivating both plugins.

Thank you. I’m marking this as resolved because I am satisfied with your response time and I was able to troubleshoot and resolve.

We certainly would like to investigate any potential conflict. Unfortunately we can’t fix what we can’t reproduce.
Let us know if you encounter it again and we’ll be happy to take a look. 🙂
