After an update to 2.0.5 the font has become larger and the letters are displayed beyond the table borders. Now the statistics are not shown as page names (i.e Management of heart disease), but as page numbers i.e (/p=5050). I think this version is a very big UI downgrade. And I dont have: wp_koko_analytics_post_stats_backup, so maybe I can’t revert to 1.8.6?

Are your posts regular WordPress posts or a custom post type?

Yeah, they are egular WP posts, and the name of the posts/pages were showing correctly before 2.0.5. Now I only see the URL name only.

@kopchev If you go to WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks, what setting is selected there? Are you using “pretty permalinks”?

Version 2.0 switches to path based tracking so that the plugin can track everything on your site vs. just posts, pages and custom post types. This also means that we have to show something other than the page title because not everything has a title, e.g. non-existing pages.

The first option is set – “Plain”. I don’t use “pretty permalinks”.

    Hi @kopchev,

Then this is expected behavior and not a bug, but definitely something you can disagree with. The post_id is still there so we can choose to still show the page title (and we likely will), but it would mean that some of the new pages which are now being tracked would have no title and thus are still showing their path, which may look a little strange. Would that be your preference though?

Thank you and I am sorry for the hiccup. This was a big update and it proved very hard to pull off – hopefully things will be more stable from now on.

I think, you should add an option to show the page title (as it was before). No I can’t really determine the statistics – i have to click individually to see which is that page that has top hits today….
