    Hi, the version 2.0.21 I have updated today as first the activation mail was being sent and when I turned off my system and started again then on registering the user automatically approves and only the page refreshes, no message is being showed.
    Please help me out in the I have been checking all the things again from whole day and still there is no progress.

    Hi @ujjwalsb,

    Can you please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out conflicts with other plugins or your theme and see if this issue with email goes away.
    Do you have any SMTP plugins installed?
    Please also try to create new test user role with the “require email activation” turned on and create a new user with this user role.


    Conflict test does not resolve my problem and I have installed wp-smtp mail to test if the activation mails can be sent out.
    Also created new role with require email activation, but the same result.
    What else can I do ?
    When I am sending the activation mail manually then I am receiving but it should be automatic.

    I just found out why all emails are being sent but not the activation email. By default, the activation email is disabled. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Ultimate Member > Settings > Email. Click the gear button to the right of “Account Activation Email” and check the box on the screen that appears. Save the changes.



    Has there been any update on emails not being sent for activation? I receive the admin email letting me know someone applied for membership, but no activation emails are sent to the user. Took me a LONG time to figure out why I had no users….

    Thanks @jbwebdes , that was what I was missing! I hadn’t set these mails to be enabled.
