Version 1.7 causing White Screens

    Heya – love the new Plugins functionality, but it white screens upon saving the plugin settings. It also white screens upon activating a plugin.

    Additionally, activating the Duplicator Plugin generates this error message for me: “The plugin generated 1 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

    It also white screens upon trying to use the User Switching plugin

    I’m downgrading back to 1.6.2 for the time being

    In most cases white screens are caused by PHP errors. Please check your PHP error log for messages recorded around the time when you got the white screen. Most likely, there will be either a message mentioning the plugin directory (admin-menu-editor) or the PHP memory limit.

    Hmm, this error persisted beyond deactivating and uninstalling the plugin. It’s possible I may have been having some sort of other site issues.

    I will try it out locally when I have a chance, and let you know if the issue comes up again/if the problem persists.

    I never had a chance to look into this further, but I think it was an issue elsewhere in my WordPress install.

    Have marked as resolved 🙂
