I’m getting a message in my WP dashboard that the Adelle theme has updated to version 14.10. Has anyone installed it yet? If so, did you experience any trouble?

    Hi there,

One update we applied is the menu, if you did not create any custom menu, it will show blank on the menu bar.

Kindly be sure you create a menu (Appearance – Menus) first before you update the theme.

    Thanks!

My header has disappeared and I have attempted to upload it again with no success!

Is there a changelog somewhere? The only things i can find are developer things, but no concrete information.

I just downloaded the upgrade as well, and I can’t get my header to appear. How can I fix this?!

Hey, it’s been three months now and i still haven’t upgraded because of the header issue. I see a lot of posts on this forum that header images are not displayed when using Adelle version 14.10.

When is this going to be fixed please? I understand that we cannot expect any new features when using a free theme. But i would expect that a crucial error like this would be fixed sooner. Can you please respond @BlueChic?

Please provide me with a site URL that the header is not showing. We have tried it on the localhost, it works just fine though.

Try deactivate all your plugins first, we would like to have a look at a live site with the theme, so we can debug.

    Keep me update.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Would be best if the site owner is here so we can check with a few configuration.

    Anyway, best to do is:
1- Remove the header image first
2- Update WordPress to the latest version
    3- Update the theme
4- Go to Appearance – Header and add header image

We work on the latest WordPress and has no issue with the header image.

Let me know of anything else.

    Ok, that worked, thanks.
    Update installed.
