# Verifying website

 * Hello,
 * I’ve been trying to verify my website with Google, Pinterest, and my Gravatar
   page and it has failed for every attempt. I thought at first it was an issue 
   connecting a DNS record with my hosting site but that doesn’t seem to be the 
   issue.
    Could anyone help me see if maybe there’s an issue on this end?

 * What steps did you take to verify your site?
 * If it’s DNS, you have to allow time for the record to propagate. If you’re adding
   a META header on your site, disable caching while you do the test, as the sites(
   like Google) may only see a version of the headers cached before you added the
   meta record.

 * Thank you – I added it in the header.php and it worked.
