Verifying two files in update (index.php and htaccess)

I updated to the current version and am verifying the validity of the index and htaccess files.

index.php reads as follows without a closing >:

htaccess appears to be allowing access to images, css and js files (allow all). Not sure if this is correct.

Are these the intended (uncorrupted) files?
