# Verify consent mode implementation

 * Hi there,
   I installed and configured the plugin.Then I followed Google’s instructions
   to verify that Google Consent is enabled, here:[https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/14218557](https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/14218557)
   When I open Google Tag Assistant, and I click through my session, the the earliest
   Consent event in the Summary shows:
 * Consent not configured
   Default consent state has not been set yetIt would seem
   like the consent is not enabled then?Could you please advise?
