We’ve installed the Core+. The Core and other add-ons are working
fine, however, the Venue add-on is not. We deactivated the Venues
Add-on and Bradley gave us a second venues add-ons (as a quick test to
see if that would work) – it did not. When we click on the Venues tab
(in the organize section) we get the message
“You are not allowed to manage these items.”

Can you help us please πŸ™‚

  • I have the same problem.

I think the add-on doesn’t work with WordPress 4.4, because i have already tried to solve the issue by using database. it didn’t work.

I am not amused, because it is not the first problem with this add-on.

OK I also am experiencing the same problem. When selecting Organize Events – Venues I get the message “You are not allowed to manage these items”
    Any update to a solution?

    Hi,

This is a bug, I have reported it to the development team and it will be resolved soon. We truly appreciate your patience in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    Ben

I wonder if this error message appeared after you upgraded WordPress?

We downloaded WordPress for a new website recently, and it is 4.4.
Do you have any idea when the issue will be resolved as we’re building our website right now and need to know how this plugin works?
    Many thanks.

all in one event calender updated to Version 2.3.5
no update for venue (Version 1.1.0)
    wordpress Version 4.4.1.

when will you fix this? we paid for it and can’t use it.

I also have this problem. I just paid again for Core+ thinking it could be because more than 12 months have elapsed since I first purchased it πŸ™‚ But that hasn’t made any difference (in fact the Venues plugin appears to be exactly the same version as the first time I bought it).

I also get the same message when trying to manage my venues:

“You are not allowed to manage these items.”

    Any updates @benjamin?
Seems I can still add venues from an event but can’t edit etc. on the organize page. Is everyone else seeing the same thing?
    Thank you,
    Teri

This issue was a compatibility problem with WP 4.4.

We’re going to release an update today of “All-in-One Event Calendar Venues” plugin.

    Best regards,

    Eli

Thank you @eliranto but how do we get the new version when the previous purchases/downloads don’t show in our accounts anymore?

We just released a new version of Core+ and All In One Calendar Venues to make this add-on compatible with WP 4.4.

You should be able to download the file inside checkout/accounts/purchases.

    Best,

    Eli
