On my website (https://www.offerly.co.uk) our customers can purchase an item from one of our vendors and will be sent a voucher code via email. This all works fine. However, I am looking to add the Vendor details to the order so the customer can follow the link and redeem the voucher code on the vendors website (not my website). Information I would like to display is the website (as entered in the user profile for the vendor) and a short description text).

I cannot find a way to do this in the forums and any help would be appreciated 🙂

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @offerly

This really depends on how that code is created. If this code is created from a plugin, then you will be able to hook into the order emails. The main order emails sent to customers come from WooCommerce, not our products. I will however try and give you an explanation of how you should do this.

So you’d need to hook into either the processing or completed order WooCommerce emails. From there you will be able to use the order items to find the vendor_id (products post_author). Once you have the vendor_id you can then get user_meta as you need. So if your vendors url is stored in their user_meta you can retrieve it.

Custom development like this isn’t something we can support, we can only point you in the right direction. If you need a custom solution we recommend codeable.io
