VAT calculation bug on non-default shipping methods

Hi !
I noticed what I suppose to be a bug with the VAT calculation for shipping methods.
When using non-default shipping methods, that VAT is correctly calculated on Cart and Checkout page, but on the payment page, the VAT disappear…
So, the customers pay less than they’re supposed to pay, very problematic !You can see it on this staging website : https://quaisud.staging.rectangle.net/
The website is password protected with Nginx, credentials :
– User : rectangle
– Pass : rectangleI switched to Storefront and disabled almost all plugins to narrow down the problem.
VAT settings
Here are my VAT settings in Woocommerce :
– Yes, I’ll enter prices inclusive of tax
– Calculate based on : Customer shipping address
– Shipping tax class : StandardIn my standard rates, since I reseted them today to debug my issue, I only have :
– FR * * * 20% + Shipping checkedBug description
When ordering products, the shipping VAT is correctly displayed on the Cart and Checkout page, but is ignored on the payment page. It only happens with non-default shipping methods.
You can test it by adding any product to the cart (make the cart less than 60€, or some free shipping rules may kick in). You need to set a french address, since I only filed the FR vat back in settings.
FR address example :
20 rue Lafayette, 39000 Lons le Saunier, FranceYou will see there is a lot of shipping methods available :
– “Colissimo” shipping methods (2)
– “UPS” shipping methods (5)
– “Forfait” (= flat rate, the default Woocommerce shipping method)
– “Retrait à l’usine” : local pickup, but we won’t use it hereWhen choosing the Forfait/Flat rate method, everything works fine : it costs 24€ (20€ + 20% tax) during the whole process, on Cart, Checkout and Payment page.
But if you choose any of the Colissimo or UPS shipping methods, you’ll see the bug : on the cart and checkout pages, the prices are correct :
– 9€ for Colissimo methods
– 12€ for UPS methodsBut when reaching the Payment page (using Card payment or Bank transfer payment is the same, the bug happens with both), you’ll notice that the price you’re suppose to pay will be less than on the checkout page :
– For Colissimo shipping methods, 1.5€ is missing (the 20% tax)
– For UPS shipping methods, 2€ is missing (the 20% tax)Since it happens with 2 different plugins, I figured it should be related to a problem in WooCommerce, it feels unlikely that 2 plugins have the same exact bug at the same time ?

I am experiencing the same issue with shipping fee calculations. When I place an order through the website, everything displays correctly (shipping fees including VAT). However, once the order is confirmed by the customer in the admin panel, the shipping fees no longer include VAT, which changes the final invoice amount.
On the other hand, on “Stripe” or “PayPal,” the customer has paid the correct shipping fees on my end, so this is more of a billing issue rather than a problem with the received payment.
I have noticed that this bug does not occur when an order is paid via bank transfer or check. This leads me to believe there is an error in the communication between the website and the online payment platforms.
Regarding the extension used for shipping fees, I am using “WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping”. This VAT issue with shipping costs started around March 7 or 8—before that, everything was working correctly. I’m not sure if this coincides with a WooCommerce update.

About the other UPS plugins, they were all disabled, we switched from one UPS plugin to another during the setup, so the old one is still installed, but disabled. My tests are already made with all plugins disabled, but Woocommerce, Shipping plugins (only one for UPS and one for Colissimo) and Payment plugin enabled. And with the Storefront theme.
The staging website is already available, this is the one I sent in my first message, I can give you admin access to it if it can be of any help.
I’ll reach the Octolize support (developers of the UPS plugin), but since it happens on 2 totally unrelated shipping plugins, from different transporters, I figured maybe you guys deprecated something unintentionally ? Plus a colleague of mine said it happens on another of our clients website…

i have also this bug it’s started when i update woocommerce 9.6.2 to 9.7.0 and 9.7.1, over 2 weeks i have tested every plugin i have disabeling/downgrade to test where it came from but when i downgrade back to 9.6.2 it’s works again.
I use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/weight-based-shipping-for-woocommerce/ for shipping but thier plugin don’t do anything with tax.
