    We are with cloudways and i enabled varnish support in this plugin.

    I have question about the settings:

    What would be the value of following?

    Hostname: is it going to be localhost or our domain name shopbylocals.com or woocommerce-427276-1340720.cloudwaysapps.com set by cloudways when we installed the wordpress+woocommerce.

    Port: is it 8080/6081

    Our current setting is

    hostname:localhost and port:8080

    and when we clicked the purge cache button, in debug.log file says:

    [2021-07-04 16:44:04] [varnish::purge_single_url_cache] Send purging request to https://localhost/.*
    [2021-07-04 16:44:04] [varnish::purge_single_url_cache] Cache purged for URL
    [2021-07-04 16:44:04] [varnish::ajax_purge_whole_varnish_cache] Purge whole Varnish cache

    So I am not sure whether its pointing to our site?

    Can you help here please?

    I think the host should be localhost, regarding the port you can confirm with Cloudways which port they are using but you can try the above one mentioned to see how things are working.

    – Looking at the log it seems your varnish cache is being purged properly.

    For us it works both 8080 and 6081.

    In that case you need to confirm with cloudways on which port they are using. Generally, it’s 8080 but sometimes 6081 is also used.
