Support » Theme: Neve » Various header and footer issues with 2.3.4

I’m having a few header and footer issues after upgrading my Neve (Gutenberg) theme today. I think I’ve managed to work out solutions for all of this eventually, but I still have one bug to report.

I had issues with resizing logos, custom hover colours being reset, search bar disappearing from mobile and tablet views, and big footer issues as my custom html footer was (badly) turned into a ‘copyright’ footer.

I was unable to find a changelog describing the changes anywhere – as these are fairly significant. I’ll have been looking in the wrong place, so if anyone can point me to the changelog for future reference, I’d most appreciate it.

For convenience I’ve got both my live and staging sites here so you can see the changes clearly! This is after a stright theme upgrade is using Neve 2.3.4 is back on 2.2.0

    Bug to report:

Primary Menu: When I try to customise the Primary Menu via shift-click I get a garbled screen and I am unable to edit anything. However, I can manage to navigate there without shift-click and can then edit settings.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @cgreen177,

I’m not sure I understand what issue are facing. Can you share with me the exact steps I need to do to replicate this on my end? Maybe also a screenshot of the problem in action, if possible.

    Looking forward to helping you!

Steps to replicate – I’m using Opera

Shift click on my search bar icon and I get the following menu. I am unable to click on anything in there to change it.

I still haven;t been able to find a change log anywhere

It would be great if you could list all the changes in the header and foot classes somewhere, as I’m sure I’m not the only one with custom css to style this, and it appears you don’t replace the old classes with the new ones? I’m assuming this is why my sticky menu and colour changes for brand haven’t worked. I’ll look at how to fix that today …

If you experience issues with the new header builder, and you’ve used some custom code in the past, you can contact us here, so we can get more details on each site and help you recreate it with the new header builder.

Fabulous! I’ve got mostly everything back to how it was now but having some issues with the mobile search bar and the header / sticky anything plugin. I’ll be in touch

    Thanks so much!
