Varied Out of Stock Thresholds for Different Products

    Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to change the out-of-stock threshold for different items.

    For example, we have some rare products where we might have only 1 or 2 of them in stock and it would be nice for them to display even if there’s only 1 left. But we have some cheap items that fly off the shelves and we would like to have a higher out-of-stock threshold for those items so that they stop displaying even if there’s 3 left in case our in-store inventory is off.

    This is not something that is available in the default functions of WooCommerce.

    We do have an option that could help with this. It is a little more robust than just low stock notifications per-product. Take a look at our Advanced Notifications extension.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I took a look at that extension and from its description it sounds like it only applies to sending user notifications.

    I don’t see anything that would allow me to adjust out-of-stock threshold so that for item A it shows up in the store as available up until there’s only 1 left in stock, but for item B it stops showing up once it falls to only 3 in stock.

    Could you clarify whether “Advanced Notifications” has that capability? Thanks!
