I understand how concerning it must be to see some products unexpectedly change from variable to simple, especially when you’ve already set up the variations and can confirm they’re still in the database. Let’s get a clearer picture so we can point you in the right troubleshooting direction.
Could you let me know when this first started happening? Was it after a recent WooCommerce or plugin update, or is this a new site setup? Also, when you manually switch a product back to variable, does it stay that way or does it revert to simple product again later?
Once we have that information, we’ll be able to narrow down possible causes and suggest targeted troubleshooting. In the meantime, please share your System Status Report from WooCommerce → Status → Get system report → Copy for support, and paste it into a service like https://pastebin.com or https://gist.github.com, then share the link here.
Once we have those details, we can move forward with the next steps.
Thank you for getting back and clarifying. This behavior is unusual, as it’s not the default for WooCommerce.
I’m glad reverting the setting resolved the issue. Problems like this are often caused by resource limitations, plugin conflicts, or other plugins/APIs interfering with product settings.
If the issue happens again, please go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and run the Product lookup tables tool to regenerate product data.
Also, please go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and check for any fatal errors. If you find one, you can share it via Pastebin for documentation purposes. Since the issue appears to be resolved manually, you can continue monitoring, and if it happens again, feel free to reach out.
I try to regerate product data for one product but didnt change anything. I still have to set it manual at the properties and variables (the data is still there when i set em, price etc)
Thank you for sharing the error log. After reviewing both files, it looks like there’s a significant conflict on your site involving Elementor and the ACS Points plugin—particularly the ACS Points plugin.
To begin troubleshooting, I recommend manually switching the affected product back to a Variable product. After that, please reach out to the ACS Points plugin support team and provide them with this file: https://lineashop.gr/fatal-errors-2025-08-12.txt.
It’s possible that another plugin conflict is contributing to the issue, but resolving these two first should help narrow it down. If the problem persists after Elementor and ACS Points have addressed their parts, please get back in touch.
