variations template loading problems

im trying to load on my website variations via the template you download from wordpress but im having a lot of problems with it…

i fill out the basic item parent template and upload the product to create parent listings and have no problems

when i go to upload the variations template is when the trouble starts

it doesnt create the proper variations, map the SKU properly, or show on the listing the qty or the price of the item it just has a blank section and sometimes doesnt even allow you to select the color or the size…is there a good version of the parent and the variations template available or someone who can tell me where in my process im going wrong ive tried so many solutions at this point im at a dead end..
