    Hi,
    I am new to woocommerce,I have a shop based on magento 1 and now I built a shop on woocommerce and I am preaparing for migration.But I can not find a plug in that I am looking, similar to one I had on magento.It is this plugin https://www.mageworx.com/advanced-product-options-magento-extension.html
    On magento there is also a thing similar to variations, but this plug in makes life a lot easier, you can make templates for products and assign them to easy create a new product without making all the variations.You can easy change more products variations, not one by one.
    I am new to woocommerce,and I searched for some time on the net but haven’t found what I am looking for, you can see on the link what the plugin can do.
    Maybe I am missing something but as I see it now it takes a lot of time to make and change variations. I sell t shirts, and under 1 product I have few models, many sizes and colours,it is a lot of variations.
    If somebody can give me a hint is there something that can help,I would be very grateful.
    Kind Regards
    Boris

    Hi @bbaros77,

    I understand you want to migrate from Magento to WooCommerce, for this purpose you may find useful this post with detailed steps for the migration:

    https://woocommerce.com/posts/how-migrate-from-magento-to-woocommerce/

    As for variable products and how to start an online clothing store with WooCommerce, feel free to read here:

    * https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/
    * https://woocommerce.com/posts/starting-an-online-clothing-store/

    Lastly, you can definitely enhance the default WooCommerce features by using extensions that you will find in the WooCommerce.com marketplace. Here are some related to variable products:

    https://woocommerce.com/search/?q=variation

    Hope this helps.

    The default WooCommerce variations editing is very clunky compared to Magento!

    I use Advanced Bulk Edit – essentially it gives you a spreadsheet like view of your products which makes editing so much easier!

    As an alternative I can recommend Extra Product Options – however if you need to manage stock on the variations this won’t work!

    Hi guys,

    thank you very much for your answers.

    Mirko P. it is not migration that I have problems with yet, for that I have professional help, but it is setting up products because in magento I used this plugin https://www.mageworx.com/advanced-product-options-magento-extension.html
    that makes it real easy for me, but still haven’t found it.

    seank123 I will check this 2 plugins, it looks like they could help but still not the same as custom product options from mageworx. I sell t shirts that I print,
    and for example I have a product(tshirt short sleeve) but it comes in 4 models, and more sizes and colours that are different for every model, and I have a lot of products like that but the prints are different.
    In magento with custom product options I made a template,asigned it to a product and just checked radio buttons witch model is available in what sizes and colours,
    and I also could set for each model an image that is changed when customer clicks on that model so they can see what it looks like.Plug in also included swatches.
    Like that product are made easily, and I am looking something that is possibly close to that.
    Thx

    Kind regards
    Boris

    Hi Boris @bbaros77,

    WooCommerce and Magento are different systems and work in different ways. For more information on setting up products you may get started with our documentation here:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/

    If you need added functionality, you’ll want to search for an extension in the WooCommerce.com marketplace that can help set up products in the way Magento does. Use the link shared earlier and look for an extension that can help you accomplish your purpose.

    If you see that you’re not able to get things to work, it might be time to speak to a web developer or customization expert about building something specific to your needs. We, therefore, recommend reaching out to one of the official WooCommerce services at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.
