Variations do not import well

    Hello everybody:

    1.
    I exported the CSV database from my WooCommerce Products backend, with the new 3.1 native option. 150 products, around 10 attributes each.

    2.Then, I added the new variations (new prices, stocks).

    3. And then imported it back.

    4.When done, apparently ok, I found some other 150 new products (300 in total), with no variations at all. I mean, they were no set, as if they were simple products (though they were set as “variable product”).

    I have seen somebody else had this problem, but no clue if they finalyy solve it and how.

    Hi @albertoalber,

    Can you please confirm that you had initially exported both the Variable product and the product variations like this:

    Another thing that strikes me here is that this is an extremely high number of variation and your PHP timeouts, PHP_max_input vars if set lower may cause the import/export to not function as expected. The below tutorial includes some PHP settings that can be tweaked to accommodate high variation counts:

    Dear @spraveenitpro.

    Thanks a lot for you comments. The export was made in the way you comment. Anyway, somehow I have fixed that, and now I have just 150 products, no duplications.

    But the variations are not set, they have been lost. I don’t know if I have to modify the CSV file with some “|”.

    Anyway, I will have a look at your tutorial, maybe everything comes from that issue.
