Submitted this as a support ticket, but also posting here because WooCommerce is free and the product I was mentioning, though it being broken has prevented me from using some paid products … so I’m not sure what WooThemes would rather have me do.

    Greetings,

I enjoy WooCommerce greatly, but recently went to create a new Variable Product – I know how and have done successfully in the past – when lo and behold, I was unable to. After much investigation it appears that Variable Products, as currently coded, run afoul of Mod_Security and this presents a problem.

My web host won’t budge on this security measure and has encouraged me to reach out to you to see if a WooCommerce update could be done that would eliminate the conflict?

I managed to Google and find someone else who has my exact problem over @ http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/community-support/website-troubleshooting/how-do-i-solve-a-406-error-if-its-just-on-one-computer

Hopefully that will be helpful for you?

I’d really like to continue to use WooCommerce and all its plugins, but it is important to me that it be fully functional. 🙁
