Variation Images not assigned correctly

    Hi,

    I am trying to get the correct assignment of variation images to the variations in Ebay. Unfortunately, by publishing the same 2 images are uploaded 3 times, so in the end I have 6 images (3 duplicates), but none of these are assigned to a variation (color).

    Then, I changed it manually in my ebay backend, but then, I can’t update the description anymore from the webshop because I am getting an error “Error: EPS-Images and self administrated images can’t be combinated. (20004)”.

    We are using the plugin “Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce Pro” to assign more than 1 image in WordPress at each variation.

    Is there a possibility to make WP Lister compatible with variation images?
    Or, more like a quick fix, is it possible to exclude images from the update process?

    Hello @campaz

    I’m happy to assist you with this.

    Please enable the “Var. Images” setting on eBay > “Profile” > Variations section if you have assigned different product images to your variations.

    You may also need to set which attribute you want the variation images to switch based on by setting the attribute in the “Image attribute” field in the listing profile.

    As for variation images showing duplicates, I am sorry but we don’t support that plugin at this time.

    WP-Lister supports the following multiple variation images plugins:

    WooThumbs Plugin

    …as well as the official Woocommerce additional variation images plugin.

    This error about combined images occurs when there is a mixture of image upload types. If some images are hosted by eBay, and then you try to host some of your own images in the listing, eBay will return this kind of error.

    If nothing above solves that issue, you should enable the “Upload to EPS” setting in the listing profile (only available in WP-Lister Pro) which may be necessary to properly display variation images on eBay now, make sure your listings are unlocked, and then revise the listing and that should fix your issue.

    thanks for your reply.
    I changed the settings and activated EPS upload – now it works. Thanks! The duplicates are also gone.

    I have another question but I will make an extra issue for that.
