Let’s say, you create two properties:
    1. Color: red/blue
    2. Size: S/M/L

Then you create all variations (which will be 6).
Then you give all those variations an image.

The problem occurs when I now go to the frontend and select red as the first property. It will not show a red image (unless it does it by accident) and it won’t show a blue image when I select blue.

The right image is shown when I also select the size.

How can I make it that all variations update the image?

I hope my question is clear and somebody knows how to fix this.

    Hi @lars-2!

Please make sure you have variation images added for each product variation as per this documentation:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#add-variation-image

If you do, then it’s likely some interference either from your theme and or another plugin and in which case I would ask that you temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme, like Storefront, and disable all your plugins except for WooCommerce core, to see if that resolves the issue.

If the issue goes away, please re-enable your features one at a time until it breaks again, and then contact the author of the theme / plugin responsible for interfering with the image switching.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Cheers!
