 * I sell necklaces on my site. I just want to stock up on pendants but pendants
   and necklace lengths are listed separately. necklace lengths don’t matter. How
   can I keep only pendants in stock. I only want to keep stock in gold and silver

 * Okay, I can assume two different outcomes from your description.
 * 1. You just want to control the stock of each item (pendants). Or,
    2. You want
   to control the stock on each color because the length does no matter.
 * For #1, you can enable product-wise stock instead of variables from _Edit Product
   > Inventory > Enable stock management at product level_ – [https://prnt.sc/1031tly](https://prnt.sc/1031tly).
 * For #2, do not create any variations for the length attribute. Create variations
   for each color and keep the length to “Any option” – [https://prnt.sc/1031upz](https://prnt.sc/1031upz).
