All products are pulling through to catalogue but on the full list of simple products are showing in the correct FB sets. For variable products only the first product has pulled in and so it sys there is only one. When I click edit set in Facebook I can see the post ID of the other products but not their variation IDs and so that seems to be why they are not showing.

Can this be fixed and it would be far too much work to try and manually assign these variations to each set.

there are only 3 variations for each product so that is not the issue

    thanks

  • Hi @bluecubes. I understand you’re having issues with variations not syncing to Facebook. There are a few limitations when it comes to syncing products to Facebook. Are any of the variations out of stock or marked as “virtual” products? These will not sync to Facebook.

Alternatively, do the variations correspond to exactly one attribute combination? For example, if you have two attributes, “size” (small, medium, large) and “color” (red, green, blue), if a variation is set to size=medium and color=red, that should sync, but if the variation is set to size=medium and color=any, that will not sync. Could that be the issue at play here?

Lastly, can you post your system status report? You can find that by going to WooCommerce > Status in your site’s admin area (or yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-status&tab=status , replacing “yoursite.com” with your site’s actual URL), then clicking “Get system report,” then “Copy for support.”

    Thanks!

I have the same problem on several sites.
Some categories contain only VARIABLE products, if I create a set of these categories the plugin tells me that “can’t create an empty set”

If the category contains simple products and variable products, the set is created, but in the facebook catalog the set contains only simple products, while the variable products are included in the set “All products”.

I am trying on different e-commerce and it seems that the problem is the same for all.

They are all physical products and all of them are feeding through to the shop itself, it’s the link with the FB sets that isn’t working for variable products. What I can see if that the parent postID is being added to the FB set ok but not the 3 variations and so the product remains hidden as the parent has no pricing information etc and that is all contained within the variable product

    Any update on this? Thanks

    Hi @bluecubes!

I just want to confirm where the problem is happening. Are the variations showing up in Facebook or no? If I understand correctly, you can see them under shop all but not under the collections?

Can you confirm that you set up the variable products as in the Facebook documentation and that each attribute has a variation.

If you could also post a copy of your system status report, that would be great!

    Thanks!
