• Hello,

I tried WP Mail SMTP free, it worked fine for may use. I specifically tried with a plugin I need it to work with, which is the import user module from Uncanny Pro Toolkit for Learndash. WP Mail SMTP was able to use the correct mail from/email and to replace all the variables in the email template (firstname, email, password, etc).

So I purchased the Pro version to get Amazon support, but when sending through Amazon the WP Mail SMTP plugin is unable to replace the variables in the email template with their correct values. The variable are empty.

If I use the free plugin WP Offload SES Lite, the variables are populated correctly, just like when WP Mail SMTP uses the wordpress SMTP instead of the Amazon SES SMPT.

Please fix ASAP or I’ll have to go back to WP Offload SES Lite and ask for a refund. The only issue I have with WP Offload SES Light is that it uses the default name / email from, but at least all the variables in the email template are populated correctly.

    Thank you!
