We are not aware of any issue related to limits of variations for a product. Would you mind answering the following questions:
- How did you create the product and the variations, through a plugin, uploading a CSV file or manually?
- Also, can you please confirm if the variations are in stock?
I tried to update themes, plugins, WP, and deactivate all other plugins except Woocommerce and switch to a WP default theme (tried with 2020, 2021, 2022) but this error still exists.
It looks like you tried the conflict test. Can you please confirm if you follow all the steps in the guide and the theme you installed was Storefront”>Storefront?: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
If so, to get a better understanding of your setup, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I understand that all your variations are not showing even after a complete conflict test.
I would suggest recreating the variations again from the variations tab by selecting Create variations from all attributes and clicking GO again. Please provide a screenshot of the variations created and a permalink to the specific product. Also noticed I could not reach your site, could you make it available for us to troubleshoot.

I did that but also deleted some unused variations, now I am able to select some combinations that are not exist. And it shows the notice message: “Sorry, no products matched your selection. Please choose a different combination.”
The 8 variations issue has gone.

Can you please delete orphaned variations (if any)? please go to Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > “Delete Orphaned Variations”

I wasn’t able to test the issue on the site since the authentication seems to be right back.
However, if the issue is as you mentioned earlier:
there’s issue that I can select a combination which does not exist:
Then this is expected – it’s how WooCommerce works by default for products with more than 30 variations.
To explain, WooCommerce will only dynamically load up to 30 variations. After that, the variations are no longer dynamically loaded – the variation dropdowns will be static and will display all attributes/options even if some are not available.
After making the full selection, then WooCommerce will check if the combination exists.If they selected an unavailable combination, they will see the message “Sorry, no products matched your selection. Please choose a different combination” just like on your screenshot:
