# Variable product search

 * I have a WooCommerce store with an attribute filtering in place.
 * There are variable products that have variations based on attributes like Size–
   Cut eg. 40 – B.
 * Now the issue is that whenever I filter products for Size 40 AND Cut B the search
   lists all products having those attributes, regardless of the variations created
   for each product. As a customer finds his way to the product page, such product
   variation might not even exist.
 * Any help implementing a search filter that finds available product variations
   rather than attributes?

 * The default “Filter by Attribute” widget in WooCommerce will filter products 
   based on the attribute name; it won’t query the products themselves to see if
   the variations associated with the attribute are available or not.
