Variable Not Working for custom taxonomies description

    I am having trouble getting the advanced variable for “custom taxonomies description” to work in the Title & Metas templates.

    I have added the variable for the custom taxonomies description (%%ct_desc_location%%) to my meta description template for a custom post type and it is not working.

    When I use %%ct_location%% to display the custom taxonomies it works fine, but when trying to use %%ct_desc_location%% to return the taxonomy description, it is simply displaying the variable “%%ct_desc_location%%” in the meta description of the posts, instead of returning the actual description text.

    Anyone experience the same problem? Any help would be appreciated.

    I had this issue as well, but discovered that the meta title is actually correct on the front-end, it’s just not previewing correctly in the backend.
