# Variable Digital Downloads

 * Have digital sound downloads to make available: one product in AIFF, FLAC or 
   WAV formats. Customer to choose.
 * When setting the product to ‘Variable product’ in Product Data window, options
   to make that product downloadable, disappear. Only ‘simple’ products can be Virtual/
   Downloadable. This seems daft.
 * Why can’t digital download products be variable? Is there a workaround? Perhaps
   another plugin is needed.
 * Glad for any advice. Thanks guys! :o)

 * You can set downloads in variable products, as well. The option moves to the 
   variations themselves, so the different files can be set.

 * Sorry I missed the ‘Downloadable Variations’ section. I hadn’t sussed that the
   product type would fork to lower down the hierarchy.
